Elders
The church's governing board is called the Session, and consists of the Pastor and the Elders in active service. Elders are elected by the congregation to serve three year terms, each serving as a committee chair.
The Session has the responsibility and power to provide spiritual, moral, and organizational leadership over all of the church's affairs and activities, except for those explicitly accorded by the Book of Order to the Pastor, congregation, or a higher governing body within the PCUSA.
