Sunday Morning
Welcome
Whether you’re visiting for the first time, the first time in a long time, or are a longtime member, you are welcome at Leesburg Presbyterian Church!
In this historic church, we wrestle with the challenges of the modern world. Though we are diverse in many ways, we worship as one body.
We sing some of the same hymns our grandparents sang and new ones as well. We read the Bible and study the teachings, actions and redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
We listen for the Spirit speaking — a word of comfort, a spur to action, a call to a deeper relationship with God.
We hope you feel at home here, whether that home is just for an hour of worship, or extends into the future.

Children Are Welcome
For infants and young children (newborn through 5 years) child care is provided by professional caregivers in our preschool rooms. For preschoolers and elementary schoolers (age 4 through 5th grade), a worship program called Godly Play begins about 15 minutes into the worship hour. The children are escorted there after a “Time with the Younger Church.”

Make Yourself at Home
Enter the sanctuary through the doors on Market Street where on Sundays, an usher will greet you and give you a bulletin. You can opt to sit anywhere, including upstairs in the wrap-around balconies.
Our historic pews feature all the comforts of 1804, so don’t be shy about picking up a pew cushion before making your way to your seat!

Stay and Chat
You’re invited to stay for light refreshments after worship. During fine weather, these are served outdoors on our lawn.
During the winter and inclement weather, refreshments are served upstairs in our Fellowship Hall.
Refreshments are hosted through our Fellowship Hour volunteers or through committees on special occasions.
