Youth Director
Hi, I'm Rene Febles, and I'm thrilled to step into the role of Youth Director. My journey in faith began early, nurtured by my family, congregation, and church leaders. As a young church member, I eagerly sought opportunities to deepen my understanding of how faith intertwined with my daily life.
As an adult, connecting with young people has been a rewarding experience for me. Building trust, understanding their joys and fears, and supporting them has been incredibly fulfilling. I'm passionate about helping guide their spiritual journey and am excited to be part of their growth.
Having immigrated from Cuba as a baby and spent most of my life in America, I've had the opportunity to explore and express my Christianity in ways that were not possible in Cuba. I'm deeply grateful for my family's sacrifices in coming to America.
I'm honored to have been entrusted with this vital role and am eager to work with everyone in our community to support and inspire our youth.

A few of my favorite things about youth/teens: At this phase in their lives, they have a unique capacity to wonder and be curious, to be willing to not yet have all the answers. They are discovering, in new ways, who they are. They begin to dream and hope about what might be possible for themselves and the world around them – and possess an energy to bring those dreams to fruition. As they wonder and dream and question, perhaps they are especially ready to wonder about who God is, how God sees them and the larger world, and where God is in their present, dreams and future. What an honor to be an encourager in this time of their lives!
